Watch Slipknot’s Intense Live Performance Of “Vermilion” From New Doc

Maggots, rejoice! Tonight, for one night only, more than one thousand movie theaters around the globe will screen Slipknot’s highly anticipated concert documentary, Day of the Gusano. To celebrate the release of the band’s self-directed film — which chronicles their first-ever performance in Mexico City in 2015, and the fans who turned out in droves for the historic show — Corey Taylor and company have offered up one of the film’s biggest highlights: an impassioned, pulverizing performance of their signature cut “Vermilion,” from 2004’s Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses). Check it out now.

Want to witness the spectacle on the big screen? Head over to the Day of the Gusano website to find a list of participating theaters. For all the maggots who won’t be able to make it, fear not – Slipknot will release the film on October 20th via Eagle Rock Entertainment, bundled alongside a complimentary concert album. Pre-order it on Blu-ray/CD3xLP/DVD2xDVD/CD, or DVD/CD.
