K.Flay With Special Guests Sir Sly at The Van Buren

K.Flay, with special guest Sir Sly, stop off in Phoenix, AZ at the Van Buren on January 14, 2018; as the fourth city on the “Every Where Is Some Where” tour.

Fans of all ages pack the Van Buren in excitement for both bands leaving no space empty from the front of the stage to toward the soundboard and filling the mezzanine as well.

With an amazing light show and a giant brain center piece with LED lights pulsating through it, Sir Sly take’s the stage providing a mellow feel good tone for the crowd to sway and dig into. Song after song, Sir Sly took the crowd on a journey of release with an almost euphoric drug called their creative sounds of keyboards, drums, guitar riffs and the soft yet grasping vocals and lyrics. Sir Sly definitely set the venue in the right path for the evening and provided K.Flay with a crowd, amped and ready to be transported into the amazing world that is K.Flay.

As the stage hands finish setting up the stage the light dims and the crowd, ecstatic, enlivens the venue as the crowd squeezes the floor tightly. K.Flay and the members walk out taking there stations with K.Flay center stage waving and hits the crowd with “Make Me Fade.” K.Flay’s set is filled with songs off her tour titled album “Every Where Is Some Where”; songs such as “Giver”“Black Wave”“High Enough” and “Blood in the Cut”. 

Each song brings a different mood, with a light show that captures the crowd and mesmerizes the audience following her everywhere she goes on stage. The set is setup with a monitor backdrop with changing colors and colorful lights flooding the front part of the stage bringing attention to K.Flay as she shifts and dances around. The members of the band stay in the background acting as silhouettes, creating the concoction that is K.Flay.

A night to remember and a great start to the new year is what fans received from both K.Flay and Sir Sly on January 14, 2018.
