Sound OFF! It is your turn to tell the world!
Sound OFF: The greatest challenge to date your band has met and conquered was?
Nothing strongly and ritually defined, just warming up…we’re not that eccentric…yet!
Performers and artists will always want to perform, right?…and all that is a final product after a real effort so seeing it “materialized” in a cool sounding successful gig has no price…people cheering you or congratulating you after all, that’s priceless…and there’s also the thrill of “no matter how perfectly rehearsed and prepared everything is, unexpected, stupid fails might happen”….that walking the wire is exciting, really!
Hahaha, nah…we have a previously conceived song list for every concert, and we even have sort of a ritual intro we always play to start…likewise, we do have a bunch of cool covers–what band does not!?–and we have meticulously chosen them, but we couldn’t tell if we have that kind of “broken dream” type of song we have always wanted to play…and believe us, when it comes, we will put it together and play it!
When we go out of the city or even in the studio, we usually have one or two million beers and pizza, half vegetarian for Felipe!
Luizzgui pays for Spotify and if a music jewel comes, it has to be bought, either LP or CD…Dave usually downloads and also buys CD’s every once in awhile…Felipe does pretty much the same…we also exchange material with local fellow bands…
Bands usually love to be the last one to play…it kinda gives a special attraction royalty treatment that’s not actually real….and after this bunch of years, wishing to have this or that turn, you can go back and think that this order or position had nothing to do with things going well….so honestly we don’t really care…with the little exception with fests starting very early early in the afternoon…opening is not really cool ‘cause not so many people have arrived and they will miss it….for the rest of the cases it’s indifferent.
Luizzgui: Dave, as my best friend I’d put it as mature, down to earth and Felipe, as really passionate and creative.
Dave: I’d describe Luizzgui as funny, professional and great player; and Felipe as driven and polifacetic.
Felipe: I’d say Dave is really serious and diligent, and Luizzgui…determined and noble.
