Thomas Rhett Akins, Jr. , better known by his stage name Thomas Rhett, is an American country music singer and songwriter, who rocked the stage with an amazing performance. He included his Academy of Country Music Award for Single Record of the Year and Billboard Music Award for Top Country Song, “Die A Happy Man” which was practically demanded to be written by his wife Lauren Gregory. She was the inspiration to this song and although she couldn’t be there for his Phoenix, AZ performance he still song his heart out for her and his hundreds of fans that night.

Following performance by Jason Aldean with his cut off sleeve t-shirt and cowboy hat had everyone up and dancing from the moment he got on stage. At the 2016 ACM Awards, Aldean was awarded Entertainer of the Year for the first time in his career, and proved to have earned it with his incredible performance. He sang “Just Gettin ‘ Started” “Big Green Tractor” and even encored with “Burnin’ It Down”.

These guys know how to rock it and they are  a great duo to watch. Although I would have liked to have seen them on stage together performing a cover of some sort, I will settle for their tour performances at separate times.
