Blind Adam and The Federal League! Record release April 28th! NEW music video!

Blind Adam and The Federal League, Chicago’s own folk punk americana foursome with powerful lyrics and a serious punch of soul. The band is fronted by Adam Gogola, a young man living with a rare, degenerative optical nerve disease leaving him legally blind. The nickname was given to him by his good friends in The Bouncing Souls when they embarked on a 1,000 mile motorcycle ride together years ago. Using it as a bit of inspiration, the band have been playing ever since and making waves in the punk scene. Full of gritty, soulful punk roots with Bruce Springsteen chutzpah, the band hold rustic, rock forward melodies.

“A melancholy ballad led by Adam’s sobering vocals, emotive pedal steel, and some light percussive tones, “Another Lonely Weekend” chronicles those empty, unsettling, and liquor-fueled days after the end of a relationship, when the yearning for the other has not yet abated.”The Daily Country

“…Chicago bred music with as much enthusiasm as every Friday screams.”New Noise Magazine

Gravely and full of personality, lead singer Gogola says “most of the time on Fridaynights I head down to the Empty Bottle after work to meet up with friends and catch The Hoyle Brothers play classic, traditional country music and have a couple beers,” which brings about the bar in more than one of their music videos.
